ExEv
A simulation environment for studying evacuation routes and comparing classical algorithms with QUBO-based optimization.
Comparing the ways out
ExEv models moving agents, limited shelter capacity, traffic congestion, and changing hazards on synthetic maps. Its animated dashboard runs routing strategies side by side on the same scenario, making differences in evacuation progress and exposure easier to inspect.
What it includes
- Shortest-path, congestion-aware, hazard-aware, and minimum-cost-flow routing.
- Route assignment using quadratic unconstrained binary optimization (QUBO), with exact reference solving and classical simulated annealing.
- Reproducible experiments with deterministic fire and flood scenarios.
- Dashboard playback showing agents, hazards, road congestion, and shelter occupancy.
